#origin II book 3…. Seriously Sinister!

Very nice.  Clean lines… even at this sketch stage.

Wonder Dave’s Pull List: What I bought and What I thought about comics this week. This week I talk A Voice in the Dark, Red Sonja and Harley Quinn!

I use the The Goat Rating system: 5 goats =Mind blown! LOVE IT! , 4 goats = Very good check it out!, 3 goats = good not great, 2…

Go sweetie!

I know that a lot of folks want more books that center around women (and have several of them who talk about things other than their boyfriend), realistic-looking women, people of color, LGBTQ characters, etc, and this is one of them. So if folks haven’t heard about it, I really suggest folks check it out.

Full disclosure, I color the covers from issue 3 on. <3

Five Weapons, by Jimmie Robinson.  Published by Image Comics.  This is part of my process.  I start with mechanical pencil (0.5 lead) in RED.  Then after I rough out the idea I follow up with BLUE lead (instead of inking).  Then I scan it into Photoshop and convert the art into sepia tone and I render the rest with brushes.  I also cut out, added, and changed a lot of elements in the art.
